Hey ho, listeners,

hier nun eine Übersicht über was wir am vergangenen Sonntag verbrochen haben. An Mikrofon und Musikauswahl war nach langer Radioabsenz und -abstinenz auch wieder Dr. Drümmer zu erleben, der uns das neue Werk der EMIL BULLS, aber auch SMOKE BLOW, EELS und die Metalheroen von IRON MAIDEN näher brachte. Live zu sehen gab und gibt es viel – sicherlich noch mehr, als wir in unserer letzten Sendung ankündigen konnten. Aber so geht das, wenn jeder Fanclub selbst die Gitarre halten und ins Mikro grunzen und die alte Garde partout nicht abtreten. Einige junge Kiesel und brüchige Urgesteine haben wir uns daher nicht entblödet anzukündigen, wenn auch nicht alle anzusehen, wenn sie denn schon mal wieder in der relativen bis tatsächlichen Nähe auf die Bühne rollen bzw. mittlerweile schon wieder runtergekehrt wurden:

IRON MAIDEN (am 07.06. in Stuttgart), JUDAS PRIEST (am 28.06. in München), ACCEPT und SLAYER (am 16.&17.07. in Balingen) und natürlich düsterere Gesellen wie FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM, die auf dem WGT in Leipzig am 12.06. gruselig miesen Sound durch den Nebel pumpten, deren schwäbische Nachkommen LOVE LIKE BLOOD, die ihre Abschiedstour inoffiziell im heimischen Geislingen/Steige am 08.06. zünftig mit alten Bandkameraden begannen, und die schwedische Indie-Goth-Rock-Hoffnung THE EXPLODING BOY (am 20.09. in Stuttgart), deren neues, drittes, schwarzes Album so weiß wie nichts in der bisherigen Bandgeschichte klingt…
